During Women’s History Month the Colorado Association of Black Women Attorneys (CO-ABWA), along with the co-sponsors from the legal and dispute resolution community listed below, commemorate and celebrate the ascension of a critical mass of Black female attorneys to position as judicial officers in STATE AND LOCAL Colorado judicial systems for the first time in Colorado history. It’s an occasion to publicly say to our judges “we see you” we support and appreciate your achievements as you become our contemporary SHEros.
We invite you to join us at the 2023 Salute to Colorado Black Women Judges on March 11th 2023, 6-9 pm at Cableland at 4150 E Shangri La Dr, Denver, CO.
There is no cost to attend, but you must RSVP here to join the guest list. Space is limited.
CO-ABWA is an organization of African American female lawyers, mediators, arbitrators, judges and law and mediation students who use their joint wisdom, compassion, and legal acumen to increase access to justice for our communities. We join with the co-sponsors below in saying our Sisters lift the bench and bar, providing much needed experience, diversity and inclusion of our community history. We’re so glad they are there!
